TERMS & CONDITIONS

These are the rules for Archers’ promotion for the chance to win a Weekend Break for 4 adults in Cornwall or one of 2,000 smartphone Camera Lens Kits. Please read these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) carefully. You will be legally bound by these Terms from the time you submit an entry into the Archers Summer 2024 promotion (the “Promotion”). If applicable, the winner’s guest must also comply with these rules. Please retain a copy for your information.

    The Promoter and the Agency

  1. William Grant & Sons UK Limited, Form 1, 17 Bartley Wood Business Park, Hook, Hampshire, RG27 9XA is the “Promoter”.
  2. Blue Chip Interactive Limited of 2 Hardman Blvd, Manchester, M3 3AQ is the “Agency”.

    3. Eligibility

  3. The Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 or over only. This Promotion excludes (i) the agents (including the Agency) and / or the employees of such agents, (ii) employees of the Promoter and its group companies, (iii) the immediate families of the agents and employees referred to in this clause and (iv) anyone professionally connected with the Promotion or its administration.
  4. Internet access, a valid email address, full name and an image of your receipt is required for entry.
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant, entries and prize winners, including the winner’s guest. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose, which may include proof of identity, age, residency and address. The Promoter may withhold prizes while it verifies eligibility.

    6. Promotion Period

  6. The Promotion will begin at 00.00 on 25th July 2024 and will close at 23.59 on 21st August 2024 (the “Promotion Period”). The Promotion will consist of one prize draw at the end of the Promotion Period.

    7. How to Enter

  7. To enter during the Promotion Period you will need to:
    1. purchase a 70cl bottle of Archers Peach Schnapps during the Promotional Period from ASDA stores or asda.com; and
    2. Go to the promotional website (www.archerspromotions.com) where you must follow the instructions to enter your details and upload your receipt to submit an entry. You will be required to enter your date of birth to visit the promotional website.

    8. Selection of the Winners

  8. 2,001 winners will be selected at random, by an independent adjudicator, for the available Prizes, from all valid entries received during the promotional period. Before the Prize Draw Winners are selected, each available Prize shall be placed into a list, via a computer randomiser algorithm, and each Prize Draw Winner shall be allocated a prize from the randomised list of prizes.
  9. Within 14 days of the Promotion Prize Draw, the Agency will notify Promotion Prize Draw Winners that they have won a prize. The Main Prize winner will be contacted on the email address supplied at entry, and asked to confirm booking details. The Runner Up prize winners will be contacted by email on the email address supplied at entry, and will be sent a unique, secure link to a claim form where a delivery address for the prize should be supplied.
  10. Prize Draw Winners must accept their prize and provide the relevant information within 14 days of receiving the email notification. A reminder email will be sent to winners during this period, but this will not affect the deadline of 14 days from the initial email notification. If the winner does not respond during this period, they will lose their entitlement to the prize. Any unclaimed prizes will be allocated to a reserve winner. Reserve winners for the unclaimed prizes will be selected at random from the eligible entrants who were not selected during the first draw, using the process described at (8) above. Reserve winners will be contacted by email using the process described at (9) above and will again have 14 days to respond (with 1 reminder email being sent during this period). If the winner does not respond during the 14-day period, they will lose their entitlement to the prize. Any remaining prizes after this will be deemed forfeited and will be null and void. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their email account during this time in case they are a winner.

    11. Entry Restrictions

  11. Maximum of 1 entry per email address during the Promotion Period. Maximum of 2 prizes per household.
  12. Participants who seek to enter more than this limit may be disqualified. Entries generated by script, macro, mechanical or other automated means are prohibited and will cause disqualification. Multiple entries made through agents, third parties, organised groups or any entry duplication method will not be accepted.
  13. All entries into the Promotion must be received by no later than 23.59 on 21st of August 2024. Any entries received after the end of the Promotion Period will not be valid and will not be entered into the Promotion.
  14. Maximum of 1 entry per product purchased during the Promotion Period.
  15. Entries that are not submitted in accordance with these Terms or are incomplete, illegible or lost, delayed, damaged or rendered invalid in any way will be disqualified.
  16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries or prize claims that are late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected, whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.
  17. If at any time you wish to withdraw from the Promotion your request should be made in writing to the Promoter at hello@archerspromotions.com, who will respond within 7 business days.

    18. Prizes

  18. The below table details each prize available to be won throughout the Promotion.

    Main Prize:
    1 x UK Weekend Break for four adults, including 3 nights’ accommodation for four adults in Cornwall (2 x double rooms. Includes breakfast), 1 x private skippered boat trip to be used during the break, 1 x lunch for four adults (up to the value of £250), return travel allowance for four adults within the UK (up to the total value of £200) and £500 cash for spending.

    Runner Up Prize:
    2,000 x smartphone Camera Lens Kits, including a fish-eye lens, a wide-angle lens and a macro lens.
  19. Please note, the above prize descriptions and restrictions are accurate as of the date of publication. Neither the Promoter nor the Agency will be liable if a Winner is unable to use a prize in the event that a third party prize provider, venue or event amend any conditions or restrictions on use of the prize.
  20. For the UK Weekend Break prize, travel is subject to availability and this excludes December 20th 2024 – January 3rd 2025, 14th – 16th February 2025, 18th – 21st April 2025 and all other Public and Bank Holiday weekends in the UK. All experience locations, bookings, travel (including flights), events, activities, hotels and any other goods and services are subject to availability at the time of booking, and where applicable (the skippered boat experience) are weather dependent. The prize must be redeemed within 12 months of winner notification and once confirmed, reservations cannot be changed. The winner and their guest(s) will be asked to provide evidence that they are over the age of 18.
  21. Prizes shall not include expenses unless expressly stated to be included within the prize. For those cash expenses stated above, these payments will be provided in the form of a BACS transfer, to the winner’s account only. The prize does not include insurance. It is the responsibility of each prize winner (and, if applicable, any guest) to take out, at their own cost, all relevant insurance (including, but not limited to, health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to obtain.
  22. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any inability of a Winner to take up the Prize.
  23. It is the responsibility of the Winner to provide correct, up-to-date details when accepting a Prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for Winners failing to supply accurate information which then affects Prize acceptance or fulfilment of their Prize. Runner-Up Prizes will be dispatched by Royal Mail (2nd Class) within 28 days of winner providing address information.
  24. There is no cash alternative to any prize. The Promoter reserves the right (but is not obliged) to substitute a reasonably equivalent alternative prize of equal or greater value, should circumstances make this necessary.
  25. Prizes are not negotiable or transferable.
  26. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the Promotion and disqualify the participant where it believes there has been a breach of these Terms, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this Promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter's decision will be final in this regard.

    27. Data Protection

  27. By entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees that any personal data provided by them in their promotion entry or, which they otherwise provide in accordance with these Terms may be used by the Promoter (and its third party suppliers, including the Agency) to administer this promotion and in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Notice, available at: https://www.williamgrant.com/gb/privacy-policy/.
  28. The Winner may be required to take part in non-paid publicity or advertising relating to the Promotion, which may include having their photograph taken for promotional and press purposes. Entrants agree that if they are selected as a winner of a prize, that their title, surname and county of residence and image may be used. A Winner may opt out of the requirement described in this clause by sending an email to dataprotection@wgrant.com.

    29. Limitation of Liability

  29. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents (including the Agency) or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner(s) or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up any prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents (including the Agency) or its distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

    30. Brand Protection

  30. The winner and (if applicable) the winner’s guest(s) must not do anything which could, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, bring the Promoter or its brand into disrepute before, during or after this promotion.

    32. General

  32. By entering this Promotion, each entrant agrees to be bound, to the extent applicable, by (i) these Terms and (ii) William Grant & Sons Limited website general terms of use: and (iii) entrants confirm that they are aware of the Promoter’s privacy notice as linked to above. Any entrant that does not comply in full with the applicable terms in this clause will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.
  33. The prize winners’ full names and counties are available by sending a sending a self-addressed envelope to the Promoter within 3 months of the applicable closing date. Please mark the request “FAO: Archers Brand Manager – Archers Summer Promotion”. List of Winners may be requested up to 6 months after the end of the Promotion Period. Please note that we may not be able to disclose this requested information, if an entrant objects to the disclosure of such information in accordance with clause 29. Where a winning entrant has objected to their information being disclosed, the Promoter or the Agency will instead confirm that a valid award has taken place.
  34. Any decision of the Promoter as to eligibility of an entrant to take part in the Promotion or the result of the Promotion will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. Where the Promoter reasonably suspects, in its sole discretion that an entrant has circumvented the entry requirements or has otherwise submitted an entry in breach of these terms or which otherwise goes against the spirit of the Promotion, then the Promoter may disqualify such entry and any future entries submitted by such entrant and any prizes won shall be invalid.
  35. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are incomplete, delayed, lost, damaged, or unreadable whether due to equipment failure, technical malfunction, failure or non-availability of the website, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind, the submission of incomplete information, or any other reason. The Promoter will not accept proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry into the Promotion.
  36. The Promoter is not liable for any delay in the delivery of any Prize due to any events, circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control.
  37. The Promoter reserves the right to delay, postpone or cancel the Promotion in the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control, which it considers necessary.
  38. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  39. The Promotion and these Terms are subject the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes must be referred to the English courts.
